塩が持つ意味は完全には解明できないが、山奥の小さな神社で見た慣習は地域の文化的な深さを示していると感じた。

## 歩いて見つけた山奥の道

歩いていると、車では行けない場所が見つかることが多い。俺は山奥を歩いていると、小さな壁に漢字が書かれた道標を見つけ、意味は分からなかったがそのまま進んだ。その道は先人が作ったものらしく、奥へ進むと神社が現れた。

## 小さな神社と塩の慣習

神社は鳥居が二つあり、奥に神棚のような建物があった。立派な社殿ではなく空き地のようだったが、線香を入れる瓶の近くに塩が盛られていた。田舎の家の玄関でも塩を置く習慣があるように、塩は魔除けなどの意味があると考えられ、そこに深い文化があると感じた。

## 山道の余韻

山道を下りた後も、塩の匂いと静かな空気が胸に残り、何か大切なものを見つけた感覚が続く。
