乳首が立たないTシャツは現在市場に存在せず、ユニクロなどの大手が採用すれば大きなヒットが期待できるが、具体的な製品化やブランド展開は未決定のままである。

## 乳首の突出がもたらす不快感と対象層

乳首が立つと恥ずかしいと感じる人は多く、特に中年層や肉付きが良い人は年齢とともに乳首が垂れ下がりやすくなる。その結果、Tシャツを着ても乳首が目立ち、パーカーなど別の服を選ぶ傾向が見られる。
